Cicalfate HAND Repairing barrier cream was evaluated under dermatological control for 21 days as part of a study conducted on patients with irritated hands caused by climatic conditions or by their professional activity. After being applied only twice a day, Cicalfate HAND showed the following properties:
- A significant decrease in the mTLSS score evaluated by dermatologists (score calculated based on the following symptoms: redness, roughness, thickened skin, blisters, swelling, cracks and itching)
- Patients observed very good efficacy: improvement of symptoms by 91% (tightness, tingling, overheating sensations, itching).
- Good water resistance: 56.7% protection after 6 baths
